A magnificent film featuring Pacific Northwest Indian dances of the ancient winter ceremonial handed down among the Kwakiutl families as their way of keeping history. Beautiful costumes and masks are worn by the dancers in this black and white film

Permission to use footage
Hello, what a great find, this short video is wonderful, thank you for sharing this treasure! I would like to know if I may use certain sequences in my music video? I have one song that has a strong native, tribal vibe and I thought it would be very authentic to use some real footage instead of modern re-enactments. I would like to incorporate bits and pieces (dancing, close-up of the masks). I am not sure who to contact and the people at archive.org suggested writing here. Thank you in advance for your time.
